The local Dodge dealership was having a sale where the radio ad proclaimed they would take anything as a trade in that you could push, pull, or drag to the lot. The horse got traded in on a new truck (he was a reject cutter) and the owner of the car place started calling him Dakota. Can't remember his registered name, but he's well bred and was Laura's main (good) barrel horse for a long time. And "Dakota" stuck as his barn name! |

I owned a horse named Born Loser. I bought him from Wanda Bush. She wouldn't tell me his registered name until we bought him. She hated that name and so she and Shanna called him Happy- that suited him much better! This was NOT a horse they raised. He was a really unique individual. He was a great horse. |
