Psalm 139:1-6
O Lord, thou hast searched for me, and known me. Thou knowest my down sitting and mine uprising, thou understandeth my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art aquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but ,lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
There is something both comforting and scary about God knowing our every thought and action. It is comforting that he knows our hurts and is compassionate toward us while we're in the midst of them; it is scary that he knows our impure thoughts and will discipline us to get us back on the right track. David knew there was no way of hiding himself better than he could conceal his feelings from God. David's prayer is one that should be in our hearts as well.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
