Location: WI | I love to have my cell phone on me when I'm riding - linked to a bluetooth speaker so I can jam out :-) However, I just got the iPhone 6 Plus which is too big to fit in my pockets :( How do y'all carry the bigger phones when you ride? |

| I have seen a lot of girls rubber band them to the saddle horn. Not ideal if you are running, but for exercising and slow work it seems to work well |

| Figure out a way to carry it on your person if you ride alone. A belt clip, there's some leg bands out there, flip belt, etc.
It is absolutely pointless IMO if you are riding alone to have it attached to your saddle. If Sparky loses his crap, you get tossed and need emergency help - Sparky still has your phone.
also why I refuse to have a phone that doesn't fit in my pocket. My 6s is as big as I'll go, Apple will lose a customer next time I need a phone if they get any bigger.

This made me laugh... but you are absolutely right on! They make a carrier that you can wear around your thigh. |

That made me laugh too!
I do like my carrier that is on my saddle, I never ride alone. Last time I did that Sparky slipped in mud and fell on me breaking my leg. Ha! |

| I ride alone a lot on 60 acres of cow pasture, or even just when I ride on our arena you can't see it from the house, there's no telling how long I could lay there if I come off! I never ride colts without someone at least outside to hear me holler, but all of my most recent falls have been bad steps, not misbehavior.
Glad I could provide a giggle
Happy Friday! |

| I also use a flip belt, I really like it. I've used it for other things when I want to be hands-free as well.
I am also hoping that on hot days it helps sweat off the muffin top! |

It stays put and honestly I don't even notice it anymore. I figured it's best to stick it somewhere on your body versus saddle because if something happens your saddle will most likely still be with your horse while you are on the ground.
In the winter I wear coveralls when I ride and they have a zipper pocket that I put my phone in.

I originally designed them for sitting all day at the ranch rodeo's when it was really inconvient to go back to the trailer to check my phone and uncomfortable to have it shoved in my pocket while riding. There obviously I am not worried about my horse leaving me without a way to call someone but I do ride at home by myself and my arena has no fence so I just tie it around my ankle-still easy to get it in or out but there if one of the kids decide to part ways with me |

| I don't ride with my phone bc I don't want to be bothered but I rarely ride without another human nearby. If you're worried about accidents or mishap just get a life alert bracelet like advertised for the elderlyw hen they fall and can't get up |

Sidenote- was just looking on your Facebook page from the link she posted - you make gorgeous stuff! And prices look good too.. I'm definitely keeping in mind
PS - glad someone suggested the boot - I hadn't thought of that before but that's a good idea. My phone luckily fits in my pocket but it's a tad tight, I might try the boot next time. |

| A few years ago I was riding and slow working my barrel horse in our arena, Hubby had already gone into the house. My horse fell on the first barrel, he got up and went on to finish the pattern, luckily I had my phone in my back pocket and was able to call hubby to come and get me since I couldn't get up. My point is DON'T have it attached to your saddle, keep in on your body. I was only loping when my deal happened.

Same here. I always ride alone, and often when hubby is gone. I bought a black case with a Velcro flap to close it at Walmart for $10. It clips to my waistband. They make them big enough for the newer phones. It looks nerdy but works good. |

Location: Where ever the pipeline takes us, TX | I put mine in a flexible case with a velcro arm band on it, made for running and working out with your phone. Found mine in the fitness section at Walmart. I used to wrap the arm band around the horn/pommel , but I figured if I ever had a runaway horse, I don't want my phone to be attached to the horse... So now I just arm band it to my arm and either use headphones or a Bluetooth speaker clipped to my saddle. Works perfect!!

| I bought a waist band that has 2 zipper pockets and one that is open from a company called Nifty, Nifty. Saw it at our state fair a couple of years ago at a booth. I wear it around my waist under my shirt. I have a LG Bluetooth that I wear around my neck with ear buds. I can receive and verbally call people pretty much hands free.
I use it to ride my horse, bike and when active working out at gym.
Really like it, but do wish it was made a little wider. Sometimes they give you 20% off on first purchase. They are on FB also.
They also have leather pouches that you can clip on your belt loops.
Nice person to deal with. |

Location: Oklahoma | I have the fancy leather clip case they sell at western stores, mine is black w studs and concho, it was $25 and holds my iphone 5S ( have not upgraded do not want a bigger phone ) , had it 3-4 yrs , use every day.( I have been doing that for 15 yrs at least ) . Phone in it's lifeproof case. I also have that flip belt thingy w 2 zipper pouches .. It needs to be wider but I can put cash , cards, keys n phone in it under my shirt, and bonus works with shorts etc and I like better than those armband or leg cases as they are bulky.
. Hubby has a fancy leather case belt clip also it holds his phone easy w lifeproof case . I have won saddle cases but I don't think that is smart. I do use a hornbag for water n snacks trail riding but don't put phone or keys in it .
FYI , Lifeproof is the only way to go, I work on the farm , and painting in furniture shop or I paint houses , no scratches, dust and waterproof! |
