Has anyone used them? Are they worth the money or is it just as easy to try to make your own? It looks like you put the sock on and just add ice? I like that there's a material between the horse and the ice so it doesn't burn.

I really like the idea behind them, but haven't actually used a set yet. To ice I normally use a (clean) muck bucket with ice/water or Ice Vibe boots. Not much help, but I am interested to see what others post.

I guess people that use these at shows specifically have a cooler full of ice at every show just for this?

I have some and I love them. I just swing by and grab a bag of ice on the way to a barrel race which takes no more than 5 minutes. I keep an icechest in my trailer specifically for the ice for these ice compression socks.

i have a pair and i like them! they also can be used for travel and minimizing the damaging vibrations of travel (no ice used just the compression).

I haven't used the ice socks but I did purchase a suit for my mare after seeing a change immediately during her fitting. In just two days she's a different horse on the road... Eating better, holding weight better, and more energy. Wouldn't hesitate to buy the boots!
