The New Testament records events , teachings, and miracles in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. It also chronicles the beginnings of the church of Jerusalem and elsewhere, as well as Paul's missionary journeys. It includes letters written by the apostles to encourage and instruct churches that were being established throughout the Roman world. And it ends with the Apostle John's vision of the end times.
What the New Testament says doesn't change in essence when supplied with illuminating facts. However, dimensions of truth will come to light as you gain understanding of cultural significance , historical background, and religious protocol .
For example, comprehending the barrenness of the Judean dessert gives us a deeper appreciation for what Jesus experienced when the devil tempted him. And knowing who the Pharisees were helps us understand why Jesus' teachings and actions infuriated many of them.
The Angel Gabriel:
Few angels are named in scripture. The most famous is Gabriel, but he makes only four appearances. Twice he made two birth announcements. He told Zechariah the priest about the upcoming birth of his son, John the Baptist, and he announced to Mary that she would bear the Christ child. The name Gabriel means " God is mighty" or God's mighty one"

Which day is Jesus' birthday?
Nowadays people start preparing for Christmas in October. But is December 25 really Jesus' birth date? We don't know.
We do know that December 25 was the accepted date of Christmas by the early A.D. 300s' and possible earlier. In the Roman Empire, December 25 was the day the Mithraic festival of the sun god( it's near the winter solstice, when the sun is highest in the sky). Christians took is date as an opportunity to turn a pagan festival into a Christian one. The Eastern Church celebrates Christmas January 6, traditionally the date of the Magi's visit, but the exact date of Jesus' birth is unknown.
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
Have a BLESSED Monday
father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to you. Lay Yôur hand of grace , protection over all going back to school. Amen
I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ himself. Colossians 2:2
