I have been speaking back and forth to someone on FB messenger about a saddle I sold her. She sent the money, I sent the saddle etc. Anyway, she had posted a tracking number and I went back through the conversation and had it but today just that " Part" of the conversation is gone. Everything else is there. Can someone go in and just delete parts of a conversation in Messenger? Has me a little worried.

Yes you can. In your inbox you can delete both responses from you or the other person idividually. A notification will pop up that says "are you sure you want to delete this message, once deleted it cannot be undone".

while yes you can do that, it still wouldn't pop up on the other persons end that those specific messages were deleted, they would still be there. It would only show on the person who deleted the messages inbox.

LOL OK, its just odd. The whole conversation is there and up until this morning the tracking number she sent was there to. Now there is a 2 day gap in the conversation. Its fine I guess. I will know more later! LOL

mine did that a couple times too, a girl had just sent me phots of a horse and then they were gone a few hours later but not our convo for example but when i went back a few days later they were there!
