I was told by a supplement person that Equine Senior was way "too hot" of a feed to be fed to a nervous horse....
I've fed it for years and have never been told this.

I'm currently feeding 8 lbs a day to my nervous, OTTB. Using it for weight gain. He has not become any more skittish than normal. In fact, he's been working better then ever for me.

Well, he is not someone to take feeding advice from then and probably not supplement advice either.

I will say that Equine Active Senior did make my horse hot!  The regular senior feed didn't have that effect, which is why it took me a while to figure it out!
