Yes. This is what I use on a gelding who needed just a little shim in front of saddle that is very slightly wide but, back fits fine. It works very well. I like that the shim is a gradual increase from back to front. So, it's not just a 1/2" piece of foam that creates a gap at the back of the shim (if that even makes sense )
