Interesting. I wonder what the outcome was.
Samantha Lyne's horse sustained an injury while being conditioned at a facility that ultimatley lead to her having to be put down. I never heard of any legal actions taken against the facility in that case.

Pistoleta or whatever her name was? Her FWOTR NFR mare?

I would think that would have been up to the insurance company that had her covered.

So tragic. I feel terrible for her. She and that horse were doing so well together. It came from the northwest, I remember a gal had it as her second back up horse in Washington I believe. Freaks me out about ever taking a horse and leaving it in someone else's hands without checking on it frequently.

Lenas Mijo Dulce aka Harley came from Deb (Renger) Guelly in Canada.

That is why you should have your horse insured if u take them somewhere.... They are horses and can get hurt even in the best of care! Just my opinion.

This makes me wonder what exactly happened. But at the same time, if they get hurt and get a cut, I would immedietly call the owner and get Vet care done on my dime. That's what insurance for the facility is for. It's very fishy that the horses wounds got so infected. They continued "training" even tho the horse had an open wound. Not safe, or smart.
I do agree, horses can get hurt even if we wrapped them in bubble wrap, but I do believe the facility could have done something more to help the horse. Very sad situation.

Yes. Probably a year ago or so. I saw on her social media that she has babies out of her she is raising.

Right. The facilitys insurance may have compensated her. I never asked about the legal side of it in order to be sensative to the loss of mare :( I could not imagine how aweful it is to lose a great one.
