| I've not fed pellets, but alfalfa hay and cubes help, check fecal for worms, i had a horse like this i feed alfalfa hay or add cubes when i can't get hay and renewgold it made a big difference. |

Oregon! | I feed alfalfa hay, but this mare is just here until I sell her and she's kept with another horse that doesn't need a topline, so I don't want to have to feed alfalfa hay to both of them just to make sure one gets it. I won't start feeding alfalfa hay until it turns cold here.
I could add pellets to this one horses grain, though, so thought I'd try that if anyone thought it would do the trick as well as, or almost as well as alfalfa. |
