Sometime late last week Lydia Nicole Culp was arrested as part of a raid that involved the distribution, production and manufacturing of controlled substances as well as a multitude of other charges.
In that raid they also found several horse trailers and other items related to the horse industry. Quite by accident or fate over the same weekend I had contacted law enforcement in Summit County Ohio to assist in the location and recovery of my gelding. I was fortunate, I brought my horse home.
Through out the several days process it was brought to the attention of the numerous detectives working on this case that this woman is known across the country for her scams in the horse business.
I believe due to the vigilance of the officer I was working with(who here to fore shall be referred to as Officer A-men) who is a fellow horseman, the sheriffs department is accepting calls regarding her scamming and theft.
If you have been a vicitim of this woman, please file a police report in your area ASAP and have them(or yourself) contact the Detectives handling this case.

| Just called the Marion County Sheriff's Office regarding her outstanding warrant for not showing up for her court date in the Falls County, TX horse scam. The warrant is sitll active and gave them Det. Denado's phone number. KARMA! She is finally getting what she deserves! |

Location: North of where I want to be | There is a very diligent and determined agent working on behalf of the horse industry on this case. The word is they would like to see her fraud and criminal charges be at a federal level. So please have your information in order. Even if you were scammed a while ago, if you have not see justice....now is the time as the game as changed.

I had my daughter tell her we wouldn't ship until I cashed it. She said ok. Money order didn't come so I had my daughter try to get ahold of her and she must have blocked her. Glad I didn't ship the saddle! Didn't realize it was Lydia until this post was updated. Guess I got lucky!

He is slightly overwhelmed by how many people have been scammed in the horse world however he is determined to see her held accountable.

The detective states that if you have dealt with her or Kenny( ie if they came together to pick up a horse) you need to list him in the police report as well.
They have a massive amount of items to inventory and plan to do so to try to return anything they can to anyone they can. This is a process that will take time.
There are several people with horses that came from her who are now very concerned that they may be in possession of someone else's stolen horse. I do believe their is a national organization in the process of setting up a way to help both law & victims sort that part out. As soon as I am allowed to post it I will. These folks are professionals. |

| I just got off the phone with Sgt. Detective Mark Kreiger regarding the case against Lyda Culp. Since she has warrant's all over there is NO BOND. They are keeping both she and her boyfriend in jail. They are sorting thru the mounds of information that she kept, yes, kept. Since she scammed people across the United States they are looking to prosecute this as a FEDERAL case. He told me they are looking at 10 to 20 years for both of them. Lydia is giving up pieces of information.
They have confiscated all types of equipment, boats, trailers, etc........
If you were scammed by her follow these directions.
Go to your local Police/Sheriff Department file a claim against her; scam whatever she did to you
Make sure you tell them that this is a MULTI STATE INVESTIGATION
Give them any information you may have; Bill of Sale, Text Messages, etc

| She kept files on people she scammed. Let's take me for instance. I purchased a horse and she had the bill of sale, copy of the payment, my information etc..........
The detective said she kept very good records; bad for her but good for us.
Keep filing those reports!! |
