I am looking for information on the arena in Livingston, I have someone wanting to try a horse and it would be a good meet in the middle place

the old covered one?  Wiggens I think it is called?  I wouldn't want to try one there.  It is a good pen as far as sandy and all that but it is so incredibly narrow that even a good horse will sometimes miss the first barrel.  I would imagine that a new rider/horse combo might not fare too well.  If you are talking about just finding a dry place to ride around that would be good.  If you are talking about someone wanting to lay down a run... I would maybe look for a more normal arena.

Do you know if it's open all the time or do you have to contact someone to be able to use it??

I'm pretty sure you have to set it up.  Google Polk County Youth Rodeo Association or look them up on fb.  They could steer you in the right direction.

Crockett isn't very far from Livingston, and they have a nice covered pen. The ground is good, there are lights, and they have big fans. I can put you in contact with the arena manager if you're interested.
