ok so long story short my dad wants my kitchen aid mixer... I want a new one that is smaller.. Would it be Tacky and seems cheap if I buy him some new accessories and some new equipment and cover for it and give him my used one for Christmas?

I was planning on getting him one for Christmas but he wants a super heavy duty one like mine that is normally $600.00..

If that's what he wants, I say no, not tacky. Plus, it sounds like you're adding in some brand new accessories. So, that could be like the "present" to go along with the mixer you give him, that you know he wants.

Not tacky! Heres an idea. Wrap and give him the new accessories. When he unwraps them tell him its for your mixer.

Not as long as it's in good working order! You'll get $600 wrapped up in kitchenaid accessories really quick too... But your dad will have a great mixer and some cool accessories.
