Has anyone ever converted their trailer into a weekend package trailer themselves? looking at having some sort of box built to go in the back slant for our saddles and using all the space up front.

Check out this Facebook Group they can tell you step 1 through infinity on how it's done. https://www.facebook.com/groups/912876135499961/
And remember, the more you build out of wood and iron the heavier your trailer is stock.....

I see people adding real hardwood flooring, real wood dressers, real wood paneling and all that does is add to the weight of your trailer. There is a reason trailer manufacturers use poly board and cheap lightweight materials.....

Ditto. The Facebook group is great but you really have to give some thought to weight.
