I went to a Josey clinic this past weekend. I went to one last year and took a very nice 1D horse. I got a lot out of the clinic but I hate that horse (I guess because she is rough but really don't have a reason).. This time I took the paint in my avatar. Friday night I had a really good run and really impressed myself-laughing. I went up there as a confidence builder but really but rally learned a lot too. I have been to MANY clinics there. Yesterday, I made the best run I have made in at least 5 years. Sandra Jagot said that was the best run she had ever seen me make. What I came away with is that I am going to do that every run.(that is the plan) If you are having a problem with your horse or a confidence issue, saddle up and go to a clinic where you ride your horse a lot. It will be well worth the money. When I get my video from Mark, I will post it. Money well spent.
I am so sore that I can hardly move and I know my horse is too.

I am curious if she talked about her sure grip saddle seat. I was talking to a couple people that use these and they said once you try it you will never compete again without one. I know some think you can't ride if you use one, however I just think it's an aid just like rubber bands. Keep in mind I have never used one. just curious
