I have the same question. Some of them are pretty expensive. I want to be sure it's worth the money before I purchase one.

I have a PHT MagnaCu. I like it. I think it helps with soreness especially on long hauls or days of consecutive runs. Best thing you can do is do your own research.

I have a magnacu and BOT, used to have an original PHT.  I notice way more results with the BOT products on a few of my horses. Ive used all of the above sheets on a number of different horses and always lean towards BOT.  The biggest pet peeve I have with the PHT brand sheets is they never seem to run true to size.  I have a horse that wears a 78" in EVERY blanket Ive put on him, he ended up needed an 86" PHT.  It gets frusturating spending that amount of money on something thinking its going to fit and it doesnt. I have the same issues this time around, I bought a used 74" sheet for a gelding that normally wears a 70" blanket and he easily needs a 78" or bigger.  I have reverted back to my BOT and like it a lot better

I am curious about the benefab sheet that have a mesh ceramic material with magnets. I thought I have read on here before that you shouldn't combine Back on Track and PHT. So what is the difference that they can be used together on this sheet?

I prefer the MagnaCu vs BOT. I have used both and really like the MagnaCu blanket. I am in FL and the BOT sheets seem to get a little to much heat attention, as for the MagnaCu sheets never had an issue with horses getting over heated they seem to stay really cool even in the 100 degree weather we get. The MagnaCu keeps my horses from getting sore over long hauls and helps alot when my mare goes into season. So far all the MagnaCu sheets have fit my horses true to size

Found this on another post. Hope it helps

PHT is magnetic therapy & you can find the description of what they do under the 'Unipolar VS. Bipolar' & 'Magnetic Q&A' tabs here: http://phtmagnetics.com/

BOT is heat reflective theraphy & you can find the description here: http://www.backontrackproducts.com/How-Back-on-Track-Products-Wo-13...

Back On Track is NOT magnetic, just so you know. I've tried a few of their products on my horse and never noticed anything, but some people swear by them. If you were to buy a magnetic sheet, PHT is the only brand I would recommend. I've heard very sketchy things about the other cheaper ones. No idea whether or not magnets actually work though. Anecdotes and science don't always agree on that front.

We, PHT , have stated over and over that you cannot compare other brands and their sizes to other sheets including PHT. That's why we have the no hassle exchange policy on sizes.

We only want happy customers.

PHT is unipolar magnets and should not be combined with ceramic heat producing fibers. PHT promotes homeostatis

I love my PHT sheet/blanket I measured my boy the way PHT site told me how too, I knew he wore a large but wanted to make sure so I did all the measuring and remeasured to make sure I got the right size I needed for him,

I've been a PHT user before the name was changed to PHT and I've probably owned more then 6 blankets for different horses. I always measured my horse and the only horse I had a problem with is my current gelding as he he measures 3 inches different from one side to the other. I measured both sides and divided in two and the blanket fits great.

I've also been a PHT customer before they became PHT. I've had a long of their products over the years. I love the MagnaCu line. They are by far the best. I've never tried BOT. Why would you when you already feel you are using the best? PHT is always coming up with new and innovative materials. Copper infused horse blankets!?!? What other company does this???

When I first got my PHT MagnaCu, I put it on my bed & slept on it - made me a believer! I slept better & felt better in the morning than I had in a LONG time!

I slept with mine too and it felt so good. I hope my new Magnacu comes in before our big state show this weekend.
I also slept with my BOT blanket and it helped a lot with muscle soreness but I didnt feel it working like I did with the PHT.

I also have a pair of CE Duratech mag bell boots, and my mare had just popped an abscess but was still lame. I put those on her and within 12 hours another abscess popped. I believe those boots helped draw it out. Im a believer in those now.

I am one of those people that like to see stuff work before I purchase. I opened a little tack store and became a dealer for Benefab. I broke down and bought a sheet, smart Scrim, which features double therapy ceramic and magnets. I put it on my mare after I sprayed her down with sore no more and it really worked! This is my first ever magnetic sheet. The Benefab sheets are very nice and work. They are very reasonably priced.

I did measure each time per the website and also talked to dealers. I know they don't run like other blankets, but no matter how Ive measured they never fit. I have only purchased these blankets used as I can't afford to buy them new so I cannot exchange them.  I, overall, have just given up trying to fit my horses to PHT blankets. I have nothing against the products, Im sure a lot of people like them, I just havent had any luck with them for my horses.

I notice a reduction in back soreness when my horse wears his magnacu. I measured appropriately and it fit great. I do wish they'd bring the big d sheets back. That's what I have and like.

I sleep on a BOT leg wrap all the time. It definitely helps any aches and pains, especially leg cramps! I love both products.

Ultimately MagnaCu may be more expensive up front, but in the long run these products save you more money than you could ever imagine.  There's no longer any need for heat creating, and possibly damaging products on your horses legs and body. I can pull wind puffs and swelling out of legs with any of our copper or copper/magnetic  wraps.  A huge bonus is the fact that you can safely use MagnaCu and CuHorse products 24 hours a day year round.  The copper infused fabric helps to balance the body temperature, keeping them cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.  During the colder months I make sure that I have my CuHorse or MagnaCu Sheet on my horses after I run them before the go out side.  Their bodies regulate back down to normal temperature without the risk of getting them sick going out in the cold or wrapping them up in a heavy blanket.  I could go on and on, but I justify the costs of my wraps and sheets just like I do my shoes ;-)

Cost divided by enjoyment, benefits, and number of uses
