Hi everyone,
I'm looking into breeding to FG this spring but am questioning if it's worth it with all the hassle of the ICSI procedure. I'm hoping you fine folks can offer some insight if you've had any experience with it. I'm a good ways away from any of the clinics offering this procedure with FG, and I'm wondering if it's financially worth it to pay his stud fee, pay for procedure, and hope for a healthy foal in the long run. I've been doing some research and see that the success rate for the procedure isn't so great. I'd be using a proven daughter of Bully Bullion who's offspring hold quite a few arena records. What would you do?

It is expensive and lower % of success compared to just AI or ET due to all the extra steps involved, but people do successfully get live healthy foals from it. TAMU has a really talented Theriogenology department and have great success with ICSI.
