Can anyone give me the steps on how to put one on? It's a closed front that I'm buying.

I just gather it up from starting from the back to front to where your just holding a hole and then just put it over their head and then pull it out as a sheet over them, you may have to get your horse used to the sheet all bundled up going over their head tho. and taking it off I gather from back to front also, you'll get the hang of it as you go along.

Ok not that my horse cares at all, but here's what I do for neat and easy storage...
Put it on him. When I'm reading to take it off, I "fold" it from the back to front. In small sections, just flip it up. When I get to his neck I pull it off and finish folding.
When I put it back on, I unlfold the neck, throw it on, and unfold the body.
Doing it this way, my precious $500 sheet never touches the ground lol. And I can easily and neatly put it into a bag.

My horse wouldn't mind if I just flipped it on him though lol, I do it my way to help protect my investment.

Should have went with an open front.

Go fast is all I got and hope she enjoys it, so she'll tolerate it over her ears.

If you can get a cheap used closed front stable sheet or even sew a blanket together at one end so the hole is similar to what the PHt sheet would be and practice with that first. They will eventually get used to it. That is how we used to get the weanlings at my barn used to their closed front blankets for their first winter. Better to use something cheap incase they do freak out and step on it, it won't be so bad if it gets ripped or tore. I just wouldn't be wanting to practice with a $500 PHT sheet!
