So I thought for Christmas the hubby and I could go on some type of vacation getaway..just the 2 of us.....I was dreaming of somewhere warm with water and sand but that sadly came to a screeching halt when he called me and said he was on the way to the vet with his dog having a broken leg....surgery, a pin, and $1200 or so later that dream was squashed. :(
We live about 2 hours from the SC coast and Myrtle Beach and Groupon is showing hotels there for about $59.00 a night...granted it won't be warm but it is still a getaway....and easily drivable. My mom would watch the kids for us for a 3 night stay so we could spend some time together...he farms and summers are hard on us ...hay season and all..so it would be nice to re-connect a little.
Has anyone had any experience with using Groupon? I have never used it and don't want to get ripped off....mostly I am interested in the hotels and vacations...not so much on stuff or food...
We use Groupon all the time! Love it! We've used it for hotels, restaurants, activities, etc. It's just a coupon, so not sure how you can have a bad experience with it? Lol!
I have and it worked great. I've found if you call the company first and tell them of the groupon they will offer you the same price direct. They have to wait to get paid from groupon and most will honor that price directly.
