What do you need for documetation for breeding a TB mare to a QH stallion to get an apendix bred foal? The TB in question has lost papers and the JC is being a butt about getting a duplicate set or a transfer to current owner even tho the tattoo is very readable.
If the TB isn't in the person's name that is trying to breed her, it's not going to be doable. Foal will be grade. The person who owns the TB would need to pay a fee to AQHA to get her listed in their database. Then they would have to breed her to a permanent papered stallion (not appendix) in order for the foal to get papers. If they can't do all of the above there will be no way to get it done.
thanks for the info guys. also any insite into if the JC would even give this girl ownership papers since there is no traceable line of sussesion of ownership with her? the only thing that we have that proves ownership is the horse with the tattoo and 6 years of feed records... lol
AQHA requires you send a copy of front/back of JC papers showing you are owner then they will give her a number that could be searched on AQHA - and she will have to be DNA'd
