 where on the feed tag does it tell you the mill the bags come from?  What are the absolute safe horse feeds at this point. Blue Bonnet, Total Equine, Renew Gold, Seminole what else.

I think theres a date and a number that you look for. I dont bother since I feed BlueBonnet. But if your concern about your feed I would just call the feed company.

Yes, I can. I have pics of Nutrena tags but they will probably be too big to post. On Nutrena, at the bottom middle there will be BOLD letters that tell you the mill. STL is Sterling, CO. On the bottom left will have the manufactured date.

If a feed is medicated, the tags will always be a color other than white. Cargill/Nutrena uses yellow for medicated chicken, medicated hog, etc.

Most date of milling and what plant is printed on the strip that seals the bag. Each company has their own way of doing it and many times it is not printed on the actual feed tag.
