Looking into possibly upgrading trailers.  Currently have a Featherlite and I really like it. What are your opinions on Logan and Merhow?  I don't like Bison, Keiferbuilt.  I would love a Elite, or Platinum, but I don't think we could afford one of them. I would love to find another Featherlite, but in the sale ads, there doesn't seem to be a lot in what we are looking for.

I'm kind of a snob when it comes to this, but I love my Elite, and it's been worth every penny. Their quality is second to none. I looked at a new Featherlite BP "run-around", but wouldn't buy one for my big "good trailer" and ended up with something else for my run-arounder... All in all, featherlite is not a bad mid-market aluminum trailer. Same with Logan from what I found on those--though I didn't look at them much. I wouldn't buy a Merhow, or either of the brands that you said you don't like.

I had a Keifer and I will not buy another.  The living area was nice, but the horse area and outside of the trailer was basically falling apart.  We had an 2009 bought brand new and sold it in 2012. All the trim and glue was basically falling off.

I just bought a new Elite and I'm in love. Top quality. Elite, platinum, cimarron, Hart, I think those are the better trailers. I would not have a Lakota, Merhow, bison, not too sure about Featherlite. A friend had a Keifer built and had trouble.

I love my Cimarron, the quality is excellent, and it was more affordable than comparable platinum/elite/4star.  It's 10 years old and has held up beautifully.

My Featherlite is 10 years old and is in great condition too.  We just need bigger.  I'll look into the Cimarron trailers.

I just custom ordered a brand new Logan Rampage last year and I love it!! I had sold a nice Platinum to buy it and I feel like the Logan is every bit as nice as the Platinum was.

We have an older logan and when we upgrade we will buy another logan. The horse area is second to none in my opinion.

I agree! Mine is a 3 horse and each stall is VERY roomy and the last hole can fit 2 full size horses comfortably. And now they're comong stock with the polylast flooring and that might be my favorite feature.

If you can get your hands on a C&C, their quality is just as good as a 4 Star or Platinum without the price tag. We absolutely love ours and got a great deal on it. Not a singe complaint about it.

I think the owners or something changed with kiefer. I'm not sure what year that happened. I have a 2003 kiefer bp and it has been amazing. The only thing I have ever done to it is replace the floor in the dressing room because the roof had a small leak which was easily repaired.

I agree with Rockin' can't go wrong with Elite. Took my husband shopping for a new stock trailer thinking we may get away from our collection of Elite's it didn't happen., He said there was no one close to fit and finish nor engineering quality. We have another Elite and I hope to get a larger LQ trailer next year. He told me no shopping just order Elite.
BTW we have the third LQ trailer they ever made. It's been all over the states and has seen Canada several times as well as the roads of rough Mexico. It's tuff! We may keep it and turn it into our going Elk hunting trailer instead of trade in.
