What is the turnaround time for colt registration with the AQHA? Sent the paperwork in early September, and renewed my membership/applied for a transfer at the same time. My membership has been processed as of Sept.27th but nothing on the registration or transfer?? My cc was charged for all the paperwork at the same time, so I know they've recieved it.. Have tried searching registration records to see if any of my name choices are in the system yet (maybe the paperwork is just taking a while to come back up to Canada) but no luck on that front either... How long does it usually take for something like this? Have only ever sent in transfers in the past and they've all been done with about a month turnaround
Maybe I'm just impatient

Time varies but this late in the year Im sure they are swamped with applications. Did you get the DNA packet and send in hair sample? Call AQHA - i had paper that seemed to get stuck at every turn but they located it and sent it to me pretty quickly after I called.

If possible, use the online form to register your babies ... because you have inputted all the information/pictures they need which will be transferred over to their database and automatic mailer. Under 2 weeks to receive papers and half of that time is the snail mail time back to you.
IF you did DNA .. it takes a month to get your hair kit and then two more months of waiting ...
I write dept name on front of envelope I. e. REGISTRATION and I think that helps their mail sorter person and cuts time off of getting papers into a working file.
Never hurts to call but never on a Monday or Friday .... long wait times ..

It took close to 2 months for my transfer to go through and then they were sending me all sorts of bills for me not being a member (which I was because I joined in April when I sent some DNA in). It took a few phone calls to get it cleared up.
