Location: Arkansas | My parents and Chandler and Lula Bell (his gf) reached Del Rio at 5 am this morning after a 13 hour drive from SE AR. Location: Arkansas | When they got up this am, Chandler was running fever, face swollen, could barely swallow. I told Momma to take him to the ER. Long story short he has a terribly abscessed tooth and is miserable. When he told me he missed me and wanted me, I started thinking of my clients who are also pilots and could get me there quicker than a 13 hour drive---even tho my baby is 18 1/2, my mind was racing with ideas of how to get to him. . . . They put him on an antibiotic and very mild pain medicine. He told me tonight he was feeling better and would be fine and I didn't need to come. But that he loved me and still missed me. Oh my the tears on my end!! So I'm here watching fish and worrying about him on the Mexican border. . . . . Please pray he'll feel better quickly and my guilt will go away. Oh, and that they'll have a good hunt even thru all this! I appreciate y'all cause I know the very ones that are gonna hold my son up to Him for His healing touch. I love my BHW friends so much. |
