Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | Possible regret? I went dress shopping with my mom friday and saturday. I found two dresses on friday at one store that i fell in love with one looked amazing on as its fitted and mermaid type. The one that i think i made a mistake not choosing is a horse hair edge looped skirt with a high waist. its simple chiffon roughing top and big skirt. So fun and airy! BUT i decided to wait to see what i found saturday. Last store saturday i went through 6 dresses and fell in love with one that is A line ( not my go to shape) but different look than every other bridal dress. Which is what im wanting, different and ME.. my mom cried, i did not get the giddy feeling as much as the friday dresses. I think i let my moms emotions influence me but I do truely love the dress.. its very pretty but the unique dress from friday is haunting me with i made a mistake in picking the one on saturday.. Unfortunately there are no refunds, just exchanged only 3 days after purchase. Did I make the right choice or am i over thinking it wanting the perfect dress and not going to get it? Im posting here as everyone has gone through this and not sure where else to ask this type of opinion from.. Hope yall dont mind.

Awww Krystal,,,,, I dont know what to say to you on the dress, you get what makes you Happy, can you just take the dress back and see if maybe they can order the one you love. Maybe they can order it for you.. You can ask,  |

ugh i wish. Its two different stores and all dress stores have a zero refund policy and can only exchange with in 3 days of purchase which im still in. I paid for one saturday. This store didnt have the one dress i think i should have bought :/ I love the one i bought but i got more excited about the other one |

Location: Texas | You could go try the other one on again and see how you feel. Maybe it isn't as great as you remember, or maybe it is significantly better and would be worth trying to return or sell the other. Usually looking at something again and on a different day can put things in clearer and better perspective. Good luck!

Since this is a different store that has the dress you love maybe ask the store where you bought this dress from and ask them if maybe they could order the same dress for you tell them who the maker is and style and see if maybe they could get that dress. Just saying |

It wouldn't have been my first choice, but the wedding itself wasn't that important to me anyway and she offered to buy the dress if I got that one. |

| I kind of feel the same way, so hang in there!
I bought a dress that I like, I like it very much. But I didn't really have the giddy butterflies tears yes to the dress you see on TV and all that jazz. For a while I doubted that I made the right choice!
But I'm not really that kind of girl for one, it's a beautiful dress, and the day is not about the dress.

The best thing you can do for yourself now is DO NOT LOOK AT ANOTHER WEDDING DRESS NOW,lolol,you still have 6 months to go.My daughter bought her dress to early,and ended up with yet another dress But, I loved her second pick much better too.Cant wait to see your beautiful wedding photos |

Haha yes!! Basically in crunch time to order a dress! All stores told me it was best to order by Monday which is today if i wanted it in time for a May wedding.. The big skirt dress was going to arrive end of april.. The one I bought is end of Feb/march. I finally found a pic of it on a model and wow! It does trump the one thats been haunting me lol |

I ended up trying it on 2 yrs before my wedding but didn't buy it then. We had just started looking and since I am my mom's only child I was humoring her on trying on many dresses. But I KNEW it was the ONE. Flash forward to a year later and we go to the same store and they pulled my favorites from previous. The dress was still there. I tried on others that they pulled for me all the while saving it for last. Put it on and knew we were done. lol even today I am still in love with it! You will look stunning in that dress. |

Will you have bridesmaids? Does the dress shop sell bridesmaid dresses too? Could you return the one dress for credit towards bridesmaid dresses and then get the dress you love? Honestly they are both beautiful and will look amazing on your big day with which ever you choose. |

It has a lot of detail no other dresses had and its a unique look that I was looking for. I just had a different look in my mind that I need to trade out for this one :) Once we get pics done I'll post some so those who helped me can see the finished product.
Wedding planning isnt really all that fun. Its supposed to be or so they say. We will have the wedding at his moms ranch that has a hill where my favorite colt Style is buried that grows wild red poppies! I have a childhood friend whos a wedding planner that i hired and she does a wonderful job! It should be a lot of fun and we will have some beautiful pictures to remind us of the day! |

| I went through this very same problem when I was dress shopping. My mother in law LOVED one dress, and I almost bought it based upon her reaction, although I HATED it. It is very easy to be swayed by the opinions of others, especially when you get tired of making decisions during the wedding planning process!
I ended up going back with just my mom, with a clearer mind. I ended up with a simple A line lace dress. It wasn't different, no WOW factor, but it was simple and it was still "me". My mom loved it. I wasn't head over heels, but it was pretty. My mom passed before the wedding, and although I didn't LOVE my dress, I love that she picked it with me. Weddings are about family and memories. After those 6 hours, the dress won't matter. |

Same here, I have one already, I do love it and I am excited, but I can't say shopping was the highly emotional ordeal like they portray it to be on tv.
I'm not a girly girl and I haven't known my whole life what I want my wedding to be like, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect |
