Location: Bastrop, Texas | I missed it, but I did record it. I highly doubt this will have any new revelations. Any serious minded person can see how ISIS evolved and can see where this is heading. ISIS, Al Shaboob, Boko Haram, Al Queda, PFLP, Hizbullah, Hamas, and all the other terrorist organizations are all variations on a theme. That's all we really need to know.
We should have learned a lot of lessons from our experiences in the Middle East over the last 50 years. Trump was right when he pointed out how we spent trillions since 9-11, and the situation in the ME is worse than ever. We only need to look to our own experience that led to the birth of our nation to find the answer to the problems in the ME. We had to demonstrate our own willingness to fight against the tyranny of King George. We had to make sacrifices first, before France jumped in to help. It was our willingness to shed our own blood that showed the world we were serious. The same idea needs to be applied to the ME. Instead of running, and expecting the world to come to their rescue, the people have to take responsibility for their own fate. They have to decide on whether they want a free, open society, and they have to decide on their own government. They have to fight and die for themselves.....just like we did. As to the matter of humanitarian aid, genocide, and crimes against humanity, it's high time the UN has its feet held to the fire. We will do our part, and then some, but we simply cannot afford to sacrifice our finest young troops and trillions indefinitely.
ISIS will be driven out, but these terrorist groups will continue to infiltrate around the world. Calls for lone wolf attacks will continue.
All we can do is try and stay ahead of them with good Intel, and clamp down on immigration from high risk areas. We will still have lone wolf type attacks. This may take generations to resolve. If we start to see government's arise that are not fanatical religious Muslim fundamentalists, and if those countries flourish, that is the only hope we have that terrorist movements will fizzle out. We can't do it for them.

| Scoot, there are still people out there who are blissfully unaware at just how horrific these fanatics are, hopefully this will help educate a few of those preaching tolerance and open borders.
I hate to say that I find myself becoming more and more bigoted when it comes to the Nation Of Islam. Many like to say that is a peaceful belief. But how can I believe that when one of the tenets is Taqiya?? Which for those who are unaware, allows them to LIE through their teeth, even to the point of denying their religion,in order to gain the confidence of their enemies to further the eventual conquering of the world. It is sad that when I saw the news saying that two Muslim women in full Muslim dress where attacked by supposed Trump supporters. My first thought is were they really or were they just saying that to spread the image of fear. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine any reason why ANY woman would willfully convert to the Nation of Islam. There is NOTHING good there for women, as far as I can see. I was totally baffled by women who were SO offended by Trump's locker room TALK, but were/are blind to the support Hillary received by the Muslims, especially the financial support which has strings attached.

I still believe most Muslims simply want to be left alone and they want freedom, peace, and a good life for their families. Am I absolutely certain of this? No....I just think they are living in fear and that's the way it's always been. Let's not forget that there has been ongoing Muslim vs Muslim genocide for generations. If you look only at Iraq, for example, you have ISIS which is Sunni Muslim, then you have Kurdish Sunnis who are mortal enemies of ISIS. Saddam Hussein's regime was Sunni. The new Iraqi government is primarily Shiite. Iran is mainly Shiite. Muslims themselves are far and away the most victimized by their own people. There needs to be a loud, clarion call that proclaims that these people have to sort out their own religion and their own problems, just like Engand and Europe did in the 16th -17th centuries.
It all makes people's head spin. The reality is that we've done enough. They have to have their feet held to the fire and sort it out for themselves. The UN has to lead humanitarian efforts. We will still probably do more than our share, because we are good and decent, but we can't sustain the efforts and sacrifices to the extent that we have in the past.

Sorry, I did not proof read...Scott...
I absolutely agree with them sorting out their own problems....in their own country.... I would like to believe that there are peaceful, good hearted Muslims out there but like I said, I have found myself becoming bigoted and I hate that. I used to be a naïve, trusting person who was willing to help anyone out. Life has taught me some hard lessons and I have learned to NOT go with my heart and take everything I see at face value.
