I really like the concept behind these boots and am looking at getting a pair for my gelding. Just a couple questions for those who use them...
In general, pros/cons?
Do you use the boot for the back legs too or just get an extra set of the wraps to use like polos?
What is the difference between the new grey boot and the black one?
If your horse is between sizes, would you go up or down a size?

Thanks!
I love mine!! I use them all 4 legs. the grey ones hold up better and are more flexible. I use size mediums on my two.
I will be honest. . . I didn't like them. But I am weird and challenged lol. I could not seem to keep the boot still until I got the wrap like I wanted and they always seemed twisted and my horse hated them. So not as easy as it looks in the video. And I thought maybe just more practice would help but I tried several times and just got frustrated and gave up. And it is not advised to use the wraps alone the same way you use polos. You will need to purchase the actual boot also. They aren't as thick.
But don't let my opinion stop you from trying them. I really liked the idea and I wish it would have worked better for me.
I love mine! I use them on all for legs only when running and my mare really seems to like them. They can be tricky to figure out at first and takes some time but they are worth it! I bought a set of the breathable wraps which are saratoga wraps and also bought a set of the waterproof wraps. I called the number on the website and talked to the guy who makes them and told him the measurements I came up with because I was between sizes and didn't know if I should go up or down. He just sent them I never did figure out if he sized up or down.. might be best to call him. He is super nice and helpful!
Their wraps are shorter and thinner than polos and stretchy. Polos in the back might would work since u have more leg to wrap but on the front you would end up with them too thick. The boot itself is pretty much as thick as a regular boot so if u put an entire polo wrap over that it's gonna be really thick.
I have their cold boot and don't care for it. It doesn't stay cold. I leave them on for about 20 to 25 min and when I take them off my horses leg is warm
