Location: Arkansas | I am, again, asking for y'all to hold Chandler up in prayer. Today would have been Chris's 45th birthday. And Chandler hasn't had a good day, obviously. I've been depressed for almost a week, so I can't begin to imagine how my baby feels. I know the "first everything" will be the worst, and this is the first milestone we've hit since he died in March. Then the holidays will be here pretty quickly. So I ask for my friends on here to say a little extra prayer for my son tonight if you will; I appreciate y'all so much. |

And then the Holidays start rolling around, as the years go by it will start to get better hugs for the both of y'all  |

Location: Arkansas | He and I made the midnight fish check together and also sat at the house for almost an hour before that listening to some internet guy tell corny and perhaps slightly off color jokes! I think it was to keep his mind off things and make it thru to midnight. He had gone out to eat with one of his friends and his wife for supper. Just staying busy helped. I trust God to keep His hand on Chandler, because He gave me a precious gift in my child and I know He will help him thru this. |

Location: California | Hugs and prayers for both you & your son. Losing someone is never easy. I went through the loss of my father as well when I was 14. When his birthday comes around, or when I'm really missing him, I like to go sit at the Fishermans Warf (he used to fish & his ashes were spread in the ocean). He's also the reason why I like horses, so being around horses helps me feel close to his spirit. Doing things like that help me get through the bad days.
