What are some recommendations for suspension support while pulling a heavier trailer? I have 4 horse aluminum trailer that doesn't make a difference at all but a heavier LQ trailer squats my rear end more than I like so I want add some additional support.

Is your truck a diesel or gas? Take your truck n trailer to scales. Find out how much weight you are putting on the ball. Make sure your tires are rated for the weight you have on them. Look into air suspension to lift rear end for a level ride. You don't want to be traveling down the road and have a blow out.

It's a diesel. I'm definitely not pulling any more weight than what's rated for my truck and tires. The tires I use are rated for more weight than usual tires. I'm looking for something to help level my rear end and support my suspension. My suspension is no where near maxed out, I just don't like it squatting. Even if it's just a little.

Ford needs to get their crap together on their suspension. I have quite a few friends that pull with 3/4 and 1 ton Fords that all need to have air bags added because their bottoming out. Those exact same trailers and heavier when hooked up to a Chev 3/4 and 1 ton, you hook up with stock suspension and its fine.

Airbags work awesome awesome awesome and are only couplenhundred bucks to purchase. I used the firestone ones. If you want to get fancy you can install an onboard air compressor to inflate them with touch of a button. Having said that my new dodge 3500 came with an air ride suspension and leveling kit. Don't really need it as even my 3h LQ doesn't even begin to test it.

We were looking at Timbren suspension systems when we were considering keeping my 3/4T. We liked them because my mechanic has had to go rescue a truck with a blown airbag more than once.
We ended up trading the truck off for a 1T dually to handle some other issues we had with the truck/trailer combo (like not being able to turn the trailer around in our driveway and without busting the rear window).
