Location: Mi | Does anyone have experience with the round bale slow feed nets/bags? There are so many out there, was just looking for some opinions on ones before I go spending $200-$300 on one thats junk. Thanks!

Location: Bennett, CO | I have a HayChix round bale net
i use it year round for my horses. I've had this net for about four years and it has held up well with 3-4 horses using it . I've had to replace a few strings,'but not a big deal. The biggest downside of the big bale nets that is stretching them around bale truly it is a two person job. But have done it by myself plenty of times
it saves us a lot of wasted hey |

Location: Georgia | I use the hay chix net for whole square bales and love it. I wish I had room to store round bales cause I feel that would be so much easier now that ive discovered slow feeders. |

Location: Where the long tails flow, ND | Haychix here also, make sure you have a ring of something around it if your horses wear blankets or shoes.
They are a life saver though! |

Location: Wherever They Send Me | I second HayChix. I bought one that holds a square bale for my 24 year old and I noticed that he doesn't seem to quid his hay as much (or at all). Im thinking about getting a round bale one for my mare (she wastes a lot of hay and all I see is money on the ground). |

Location: Alberta, Canada | We use nag bags and really like them. It has cut down the amount of waste, and how much hay we go through in general. Plus ulcer horses, horses with respiratory issues -- all happy. Even my old fat retirees look better. |

Location: Kentucky | I have three HayChix. Love them. There's usually a 20% off coupon and free shipping floating around BHW somewhere. It's saved me a lot of money using the slow feeders in the pasture and stalls. |

Location: Alberta | We use Econets (Canadian brand) on our round bales and they pay for themselves. We have zero wastage, the horses don't have their heads neck deep in the bale, which with this year and the moisture we had the bales are a little dusty, but no worries with the nets. The horses don't fight around the bale, no time to really as they have to think more about getting the hay thru the nets LOL. Well worth the investment!!! |

Location: North MS | I've got two of the round roll nets from haychix. I've used them for about 5 years now with no damages. I will try and insert an image (I use them with homemade hay rings too). I've got a coupon below as well.
