| I'm convinced they work, I had a mare that had a bad fall around 3rd and chiropractic and massage wasn't helping her poor back was so sore that when you brushed her she would flinch. We tries these patches and no s*** after 10 minutes she was sound, no flinching. I left them on for 3 days like suggested. That weekend went to a race and won the 2D and haven't had an issue since. |

| The horse in my avatar was so body ore from EPM that he could hardly move. Patched him before the APHA World Show so he would be able to perform. Ended up Reserve World Champion in poles, top ten in barrels. Yeah, they work. |

Location: Canada | I used them on one mare who was very sore from spring heat cycle and it made a world of difference. I used them on another horse and it made no difference. So it depends on the horse (like all things)
They were really big and being advertised everywhere about four years ago then I haven't seen much of them and truthfully sort of forgot about them till I saw them at the NFR. |

How do they work?
The are a non-transdermal patch that stimulate acupressure points depending on placement. |

How does a stick on patch stimulate an accupressure point? Does is have a hard lump on the patch that a professional accupuncturist (or pressurist) places at just the right exact tiny place? |

Yes, they do come with beads that are placed under the patch but I know some people don't even use the beads. You do not have to be certified or licensed to use them; they come with a lot of literature regarding placement but you can attend trainings, classes, etc... |

Apparently someone forgot to use the sarcasim font. Anyhow, I can't explain it because there is no science, but for an animal that can twitch a fly off any part of his body, it seems to be enough pressure to make a difference. I've certainly seen it work on one of mine. The other...not so much. |

Location: Running barrels or watching nascar | I just picked up some to use on my young horse's hoof problem. Also, when either of my horses pull a shoe or have to be barefoot on gravel at certain venues, I'll patch them. I also use them on myself. I don't use them all the time. I use them when needed. |

| I suggest that you go to YouTube. Do a search for Shelly Gish LifeWay Patches. There are several. Watch a few. One is a horse with an abscess. Don't know which. Worth taking a look. |
