For those of you who use Nettles half breeds stirrups, what tread width do you have.... 2" or 3"? Do you have the grippy tread or smooth? And lastly, does anyone use the Leveler??? Already in contact with Rockyroad, just trying to figure out exactly what I want. Thanks!

How wide are yours? I use 3" Walls currently and I'm not sure if I should get the same in Nettles or not.

Dry well made product. Expensive, and pretty much worth it.

I have 2 pairs, both are 2", one has leather and the other has the cushion on it, which I don't like.  I was going to send them in and get leather put on them along with the leveler. I love these stirrups.

The grippy pads they have now are different than the spongy stuff yours have Kathie - they went to these recently & they are the same thing as the Halfbreed BUT they have this grippy tred instead.
Good grief, I can't remember how to attach pics anymore!  I was going to put a pic of the new tred.

I don't like the rubber grips so I vet wrap mine, perfect amount of grip but I can still slip my foot out on a colt. What is a leveler?

I looked on their website and this is what they said about the Leveler. Sounds pretty cool!

“The Leveler”, available only as an addition to Nettles Stirrups. An unleveled stirrup causes a foot to tilt, stressing the ankle. Like sand in your shoe, even the smallest tilt can cause discomfort.

“The Leveler” may be added to any new pair ordered or you may ship your stirrups to our facility to have “The Leveler” added to your favorite pair of Nettles Stirrups. Price per pair.

I have one set without the leveler and one set with. I absolutely love the leveler and will not go without again. I have a lot of ankle issues and pain when I even just ride a little bit even in my regular Nettles but since getting the leveler it has made a huge difference. I have way less pain while riding. Well worth the money to me.

Thank you!  I have not personally tried the Leveler yet although have been planning to. Your info is exactly what I needed!
Thanks Slipperyslope for the info posted for everyone too!

I have the 2inch smooth, best stirrups ever. I didn't know that they made them with grippy tread... I think I might have to get a pair of those now!
