I believe barrel horse news did the article? I haven't gotten mine this month yet but curious if it was in the December issue? |

I know Sarah rides Bling in a Corriente. Just goes to prove you don't need a $2000+ saddle to run at a high level.
I thought the same thing when I first saw that, very cool! But as the NFR went on, did seem like her Corientte was sliding around quite a bit. Not staying in place nearly as well as the Double J she used to run in. Would love to know the reasoning behind her change. |

I bet if that Corrientte keeps sliding around she will not be using it for long. Thats the last thing she needs on a horse like Bling. |

I think Sarah could ride bling bareback. I swear, I don't think there is another person on the planet that could get on that horse and
make a run. Not really the ideal turn, but dang they make it work don't they?

Location: Cocoa, Florida | I only saw one person in a treeless I think it was Carly? I'm sure sherry was in a Martin, I don't know about the double Js but I'm seeing a LOT of them on sale. I've had a couple corriente trophy saddles, they are decent and lasted a long while for a cheaper saddle. Wayne is making some really pretty saddles these days with the popular rough out. The standard tree was 7" and he told me he couldn't make a 6.5 for my current open horse so i didn't get one.

Yea I like the way his saddles are looking and the quality seemed decent. But I tried one on my horse and it was a bit snug, he told me they only made them in that size so I couldnt order one. |

| Glad to know I wasn't imagining things. I saw it and thought "uh oh" and then thought "can't be ... maybe its the way she rides ... she really has to get in there and ride every step of the way". Then as the week progressed, I held my breath not for fear of her hitting a barrel but for fear of it rollin too far. Even my non-horsey husband noticed it ... I hope she gets it figured out. |

I can't remember what round it was, but the camera was zoomed in when she was coming in the gate and it looked like her whole skirt was covered in rhinestones. My heart skipped a beat lol. I wonder if it came that way or someone added them for her? I'd love to see it in person, I bet it's breathtaking  |

It slid soooo much though  I don't think she'll be riding in it after the NFR if I had to make a guess but she's sponsored by them so I think she felt she had to ride in it
I know Stevi Hillman rode in her Rockin M Leathers tack set :)

| I noticed Jana's saddle for the first time in round 9 and I think I need one now! I know Amberleigh Moore got sponsored by Double J before the NFR and they made the saddle she rode in. Jackie Ganter switched from Double J to a Tami Semas. A couple girls were in Shiloh's (Michele and Stevi), Carly rode a sport saddle, Pam Capper is sponsored by Tod Slone, Sherry of course rides hers, Mary Walker rides hers by Jeff Smith, Mary Burger (I think) rides in a Cactus trophy saddle (possibly a Marlene McRae?), Ivy I thought rode in a Crown C all year but she was in one of the saddles her family designed at the NFR (Cowboy Classic), Kimmie I think rides a dynamic edge from Cactus, Lisa rides her line by Circle Y, Cayla Melby rides in the G-G that her mom designed, and Sarah Rose was riding a Corriente (I'm surprised she switched from a Double J when Bling had been running and winning so much in the Double J). |

I believe it is something very similar to this from Double J. But I thought Jana rode a Pro Racer and not a Pozzi.

You must have a good eye. lol I could hardly notice because it seems like they just blew in and out of the arena. I also ride G-G on one of my horses. |

| I saw Jana right before the NFR. Double J made her saddle to be ridden at the NFR and she ran it on Chick, the bay horse. Chick ran the last 5-6 rounds. It has lots of copper bling. If I recall, she said they made it for the finals but it will be for sale after. She rides the Pro model. She had posted a picture of it on Facebook when she received it from her sponsor, Double J, and pictures just do not do it justice. It is gorgeous.
