| FRENCHMANS FABULOUS is a fantastic barrel producer and is also
making a name for himself as producer of prorodeo roping horses!!
I have a buckskin granddaughter of FF by a buckskin son of FF
out of a DFP mare that goes to church every Sunday and he sits
on the front pew ... lol ... he is so gentle a high school girl broke him
to ride and her Mother runs barrels on him.... nice quiet stallion!
My fillies dam is loaded with well known speed and my filly is so
gentle and such a people person she can be a pest at times ....
she loves feeding time and which stall is hers to wait in.
She definitely has the speed, disposition, conformation and calm
nature to do barrels and roping. She is like a pretty lady that
doesn't know how pretty she really is ....

| I have a 5 year and a smoke n sparks daughter bred to him right now. My 5 year old is appendix (bugs alive and Harlan) and is the smartest half running blood horse I have been around. One of the smartest in general. She is not mareish and just quiet and wants to please. Never has an attitude when I kind of hammer on her. Previous owners were heeling on her but she hit a growth spurt and I am heading on her. I am still waiting for the sweats in the box and I don't think they are going to come. She still walks in the alley in barrels too and walks out. She is clocking 2/3D just high loping. Taken me a while to get used to no rate, you just set her up going in and she turns. Have to leave her alone on the backside. I am about to start pushing her now that I have some time. Also, she is barefoot and can trot across the rocks after trimming. Feet are a little upright but I seem to have less problems with those than no heels. They are good feet. I have been around him a little and he seems really laid back. |

| Oh, and my step mom has 3 mares bred to Russel Cardoza's Frenchmans Fabulous stud that was out of his good calf horse. He is super nice and they do EVERYTHING on him. Seem like Fabs make good kid horses also, that is why I bought mine. |

Location: Where I am happiest | We have a 2 yr old filly by him and she was born broke. She is out of a Calyx/Biankus mare. My daughters boyfriend started her on the ranch and by her 10th ride he was gathering on her. By her 20th ride he was branding on her. She was quiet and never got rattled and the branding pen is nothing short of controlled chaos. Multiple horses, ropes, calves bawling, branding, smoke, all of it.She was tracking calves like a old pro and never panicked. Not even when he roped that first calf on her and she held it like a 10 yr old horse. He put just short of 3 months on her and she's turned back out for winter. She is smart, calm, and very quick footed. He had multiple offers to buy her from some huge ranches but she has bigger fish to fry. We will start riding her again this summer to continue her education and introduce her to the barrels by summers end. She will futurity as a 5 yr old. |

| I had one I loved. She was a yearling when I bought her and stayed with me until she was five. One of the most consistent, gentle, smart horses I've ever owned. She's running highschool rodeos with her new owner and doing pretty well. I would take another if given the chance. |

Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace | Mines the biggest pain in the **** ass. I was just telling somebody today that our entire lives are centered around that stupid horse. We want to sell our property and buy something else....someone asked why we didn't just buy land and build....I said we can't because we need something already set up to deal with him.
But.....there isn't enough money in the world that I would sell him for now. He's getting older (will be 12 soon). He's made way more money then equistat can put on there (too many races that don't report). Just last year he earned over 4k.
And we can give the niece and nephews pony rides on him at the barn.
Don't really get much nicer then that. |

I don't think so. My mare is really quiet and she is appendix and all the geldings seem nice too. The top notch fabs seem to be mares but maybe he just has thrown more? I know what you mean though. I normally like fillies but the last two studs I bred to the colts are a lot better so I was glad I got two colts. There are still multiple mares that go to nfr by the one stud but have heard they are hot and quirky. |

Location: Cold Tundra | I have weanling that's very laid back and mellow. He's build big and thick. Not to mention he's palomino. I am toying with idea of selling him, because it going to be another 15 months before he can be broke to ride. This is him at 3 months old.

| I tried to have two, back when I was having so much trouble getting my mares to NOT absorb the fetus sometime after getting a heartbeat. I can say that Kenny Nichols is great to deal with. I originally contacted him about one of his babies and then we got to talking about the mare that I was having the most trouble getting to carry to term. He actually asked about buying her because of her breeding (she was a daughter of Strawfly Special out of a daughter of DFC with Lady Bugs Moon ON her papers on the very bottom side). He gave me some advice as to getting her settled (which worked the following year) and sent me semen for TWO mares when they both came in at the same time. Told me that he wouldn't charge me anything unless they settled....unfortunately that year, they did not. What more can you ask for? I did end up sending a check for a decent amount of earnest money which he then offered to put towards the purchase of one of his babies.
This was vastly different attitude and treatment I received from the owners of FF's sire. They basically took my $$ and that they didn't want to "waste" their stud on a "junk" mare (because we couldn't get her settled....she was one that required live cover in the end.)
If I ever broke down and decided to breed I would not hesitate breeding to Fab, after losing the above mentioned mare 3 weeks after foaling I decided that I would never breed a mare that I really liked again. |

| I bred my 1D Brimmerton mare to him and shes due around April fools day! I picked Fab as my #1 choice because I've read great things how smart his babies are and freakishly athletic. I think breeding to Fab is a win win situation. They all seem to have excellent resell value as well. Also working with Kenny was great. He sure makes you feel that your mare is a priority to him! |
