We are going to the vet this week (suspecting ulcers)... If so, I would need this information too! |

Location: The South | The compounding pharmacy I work at makes it
Plain omeprazole powder or paste, and also an omeprazole/ranitidine mix powder or paste. I don't want to get the thread deleted so PM me if you'd like contact info for them. I plan on talking to the owner about advertising on here, they ship anywhere in the US. |

Location: North Dakota | I order through Equine Pharmacy Solutions. Healed ulcers on one mare, and use for prevention on the others. Super cost effective and my horses actually WANT their dose...

Location: WI | www.myprecisionpharmacy.com I get the omeprazole/ranitidine paste, 3 doses per tube. I think I pay around $12 per tube and if you order $50 they will ship 2nd day air no charge. LOVE them! |

| Thank you for the information. I was hoping to find it in a powder form as it takes over an hour just to de-worm my gelding. After de-worming he's usually head shy for a few days. Just looking for an easier method. |

Last time I ordered the suspension, it was $200 for 300 mL = 30 treatment doses (10 mL) or else 120 maintenance doses (2.5 mL)
+ $10 to ship. |

Message Douglas Gordon on here, as he used to compound it, from what I have seen he can give you the raw ingredients you my it yourself then administer.
I had success with his.
I have also had success with PApaya puréed, which formula one is now selling. Papaya has clinical trials proving it cures ulcers from 1980's my vet showed me the articles one day. The bonus it they love it and no long term negative effects.
I have been using papaya over omeprazole for the past few years till it became difficult to get papaya in Canada.
Equisure did some studies and they say the studies proved it cures ulcers, also natural, I haven't used it yet, but did order some just to try. This is one I have been told can go on their feed as well but may take a little longer to see results this way.
