Location: the other T-town, Oklahoma | As many of you may know our local Wild Notions Producer, NBHA OK 02 director and the Queen of benefit barrel races, AKA on this formum as CLM is in the hospital. She took a tumble of a horse last Sunday and recently had surgery to repair a broken hip. All of us know that she is the first one to put together some amazing benefit races for anyone in need and take the plunge when there is a need to be met. Please help keep this bumped up so all will be informed of this upcoming race. Cindy always makes it look so easy to put one together in a very short amount of time, without her as the ringleader, our skills will be tested.....so our race is January 21, Circle L Arena, Ochelata OK. (There will also be a make up date in Feb, just in case the weather isn't cooperative) We will need concession donations and items for a live auction. The wood stove will be stoked and warm with warm things in the concession. We will have a minimum of $500 added and I am believing we have someone to sponsor 5 buckles. See the events page for full details as they become available. Time for us to pay it forward and show her the amazing work of God's love.

We have had it on our minds, she does these all the time and throws them together at the last minute and they turn out to be amazing,,,, this girl needs more time to plan and gather the forces. Her benefit races are big shoes to fill!!!!! |

I have some friends like that too! Like the sitting part is more pain than the actual physical pain. . . |

Location: the other T-town, Oklahoma | The draw has been updated as of 1-11-17, it is constantly getting added to so it changes frequently. I will try to update it everyday that I remember to bring to books to work so I can get on the internet and do it. I will not be able to update Saturday and Sunday, so I will update it again Monday morning. |

Location: Kansas | I'm not sure I'll make it now since the draws are so full and I'd be running in late afternoon, then driving 3.5 hours home.....don't want to get in late since I have a district NBHA the next day. Dang it! We would have brought 3 horses. ?? Looks like it will be a great race though! |

My guess is at 2. Auction is until 130, which should leave the youth starting then.
That is just me guessing. :) I am going but won't be there until late. |

You are a good guesser.................. Hoping to start PEEWEE at 2. Open should be pretty quick to start, we go straight to the open from the peewee. The draw is full 1o about 115. |

Location: the other T-town, Oklahoma | Draw has been updated as of 12 noon today. Just remember it changes by the hour so just becuase you see an open number, it may not really be open. I don't have internet/computer at home so I can only update it while I am at work. I will update again tomorrow but I leave work at noon, if you text after that you probably won't see your name on the posted draw. If you text me late Friday night or Saturday morning, depending on where I am in the arena, you may not get a pre entry. I am trying to accomidate everyone so I just ask everyone to be understanding. The weather is going to be amazing!!!!! |

Location: the other T-town, Oklahoma | Just wanted to express a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this benefit a huge success. God gave us an amazing day and an awesome barrel racing family and we could not have done it without each and everyone of you. The number of donations for the auction and the concession were too numerous to count. We (as in each and everyone one of you) were able to raise over $7000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God is so good to those that believe and always provides a way. I truly believe he had HIs hand in this long before we ever knew it was going to happen, there is not other explanation why we had a 60 degree day in January the week after an ice storm. We did have a small rain shower and after it was over He put the biggest, prettiest rainbow over the arena and both ends were visiable. Thanks again to each and everyone of you who made this day possible and keep the prayers coming!!!!!!!!!!
