We have a indoor arena with 100% dirt, it's light and powdery, and gets terribly dusty. I've gotten some pallets of MAG and it worked for about 3-6 months but this time it only lasted less then a month. So I am looking for a new solution. Watering it is a HUGE pain, and it balls up in their feet for a week after it gets watered. Help would be appreciated!

3rd the sand, seems like sand is almost the answer to all arena problems..

I would consider pulling some dirt out and redoing with proper footing sand. That'll help and the add the mag.

Footing breaks down over time and needs maintained, it happens.

We put Mineral Oil on ours. We bought it in 50 gallon drums. My husband built a PVC tube with holes in it to attach to drums to spread over the arena evenly. We have not had to water at all and we used to have to do it once every couple of weeks.
