Anyone buy from Groupon? I need a new cell, but won't pay the stupid contract prices anymore with verizon. I've searched Ebay, but then came across a phone on Groupon, are these decent to purchase from as well? Seems nobody around me has done this..sorry this is way off track!

I have bought a few things from Groupon. Have been pleased. I have bought a ton of stuff from Amazon and have been pleased. Just read carefully. I have Amazon Prime and do not recommend that if you buy only one thing.

I only buy services and tickets from Group On as I did get some junk through them. I buy from Amazon all the time and they are awesome if you have any problems with a product you receive. Their returns are easy.

The fine print on Groupon can be the killer, services may have very limited shelf lives or limited availability. Products may not be returnable etc.
I love Amazon. We have a distribution center in the larger city near us so even without Prime the "free shipping" that is described as 7-10 days is next day if the distribution center has it in stock.

We just had an issue with some boots and Amazon stayed on it til they got it straight. Not pleased with the seller but was very happy with Amazon.
