How important is a pad that is made to drop down below the rigging of the saddle?
What kind of treeless? I have a Jackie and it hangs over a little but doesn't rub. I use a saddleright pad! |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I have a 5 Star Trail Rider for my treeless and just right for the droped rigging, these are nice for any saddles with a droped rigging. You can get any size are thickness..

And they now have a pad made for Treeless saddles with the "open" spine to support the back more too. |

The "Treeless" pads only come in 7/8 & 1", although you can get them special ordered in the other thicknesses. I personally would not go any thinner than the 3/4" in the other style either. 7/8 is definitely the most popular w/my customers. |

Location: Mi | I have a regualar 5 Star 3/4" that I feel is a great thickness for my treeless. I haven't had a problem with the drop rigging pinching or cutting in or anything with it. My only concern is spinal clearance. I'm not positive if the regualar pad allows enough.....any thoughts on that?

Location: Texas | Saddleright pads makes a pad for the treeless saddle with the longer sides. They are a great pad for use under the Treeless saddles, or any saddle!! |

You know I have one of these and never though of trying it, LOL, I'm so stuck on my 5 Stars. I will have to see how it fits under my BM, it may not be long enought, my BM has a pretty long skirt, I cant remember if the gel pad I have is made for a square or round skirt saddle, but will check tomorrow if I get a chance too. My BM is a square skirt, so kinda douth its going to fit.  |

I ride my BM treeless with one of the Navajo impact gel pads... works well for my mare.

Location: Cocoa, Florida | I just bought a tammi Fischer I've been using my Todd slone wool pad and haven't had any issues with sliding or anything. I am interested in the drop down pad now though |
