Can't speak for the barrel saddles but I had a RW Bowman Will James Rancher and it is the nicest saddle I have EVER owned. Leather was buttery soft and it was QUALITY for sure

I had one of the mule trail saddles, really surprising how nice the leather was for the price. Extremely comfortable as well.
