My little sister got a real camera for Christmas, so we were all playing with it yesterday. We wanted to take pictures of our three palomino mares, but one of our weanlings photobombed a few times... and then Lulu's dam was nearby so we snapped a picture of her too.

Nice Nice looking horses ...

A real camera sure makes a difference vs ifon photos ..

Step back from your horse about 20+ feet and use the zoom on the camera
and shoot at their ribs to get some nice balanced photos ... the zoom
also makes some very nice crisp closeup shots ...

HAVE FUN PLAYING WITH THE CAMERA!!

Beautiful horses! And yep, the South is hot (cooled down a little today); my crew that deer hunted yesterday saw wasps, moths, lady bugs, and mosquitoes. . . .

I'll take some of that 80 degree weather! We are expecting single digits and below zero temps again next week, and I'm trying to figure out a day this week I can ride because the wind and the drifts make it a little difficult (and sometimes uncomfortable) to navigate.

Look at your size on your original photo .. it may show 1.3mb ..

Use paint and click resize ... it will show 100 in chart .. click in say 25 and save paint photo back to the original folder so it will be next to your original ...
I add the 25 to the photo title to identify it ... check and see if it is less 99kb... if so load into BHW .. if not reduce to 20 until you get under 99kb ...

With a little practice you can do it in one guess ... lol

You have to use jpg and not png photos ..

Its been cold and icy here.  Luckily not a whole bunch of snow like others are getting.  We already had 2 days at -30 here - I can handle the cold not the ice!  No riding in sight till probably March. So I'll keep dreaming about moving south, frankly though the snakes freak me out!

I'm not going to lie, I'm a little over the 80 degree weather. Some 50s and 60s would be nice... no snow though. LOL
