I'm interested in pursuing this degree. Has anybody ever received a pharmacy tech degree online? If so what school do you recommend? TIA

I would check with a high school counselor. About the only thing I can recommend is to make sure they are accredited.

I'm not sure what state you're in, or if state laws are different. But in Texas they don't require you to go to school to be a Pharmacy Tech. I got a Trainee license and learned on the job at CVS while going to nursing school. After several months and studying, I took my test, and became certified. CVS paid for my test.

Yes Stride I do live in Texas. Did you get your trainee license there at CVS? Do you mind telling me what the average income would be for that? Thx

Sent you a pm. I highly recommend anyone going through nursing school or into the medical field to be a pharmacy tech. It pays well for a starting tech vs minimum wage college student jobs, and only goes up when certified. I worked while getting my nursing degree. I didn't have to study pharmacology. You can be a pharmacy tech in retail, compounding, mail order or hospital.
