Judge away, just looking for strengths and weaknesses, he's a little underweight and straggly looking for my liking but in 6 months you won't be able to tell a difference! What do y'all think?

Edit: he's 4 by the way, docs prescription, peptoboonsmal and freckles playboy

Hes cute, but you cant really tell how hes built by these pictures, you need better pictures of him standing square of both sides and a front and rear picture of him standing by his self. And tighten up his halter its sitting to low on his nose.. Hes got a kind face/eye,

He's cute! I'm not a huge fan on his hind end. What happened on his left hind cannon bone about half way up?

Can't judge Confo from any of these pictures. Stand him square. Both legs together in front and back. Shoot the picture directly at his side. Same for front, back and other side.
Like these.

The knot on his cannon bone on the back left is from a cut?

It's not a knot, it's a scar and scab coming off and because he's so hairy it sticks out and makes it look like a knot or bump.

I like him!! He's made the way I want a horse to be made. How tall is he? Looks like a big boy. Love the long neck and low set hocks.

He ain't gonna win a halter class but who cares??

He's 15-15.1 won't grow to much taller I don't think but will get a lot wider! Here's some better pix, best I could do, it's 40 here in Florida and he has a winter coat for Alaska right now! He just blew an abscess so only one hoof was trimmed since he wouldn't pick the others up, will trim the rest tomorrow! Hope these are better
Oh, and there's the "knot" pic, just a big scab from a puncture he had

It looks like he has nice short cannon bones, low hocks, good slope to his shoulders, good gaskin muscles, nice kind eyes. Lots of nice things about him. Pretty boy

I agree with Crossspur about the low hocks, good slope to his shoulders, nice gaskin muscles, and I like that he has a short back, and still liking that kind eye and sweet face, I bet he really loves all the attention he can get..Hes just a pretty fella..

To me he looks a little weak in the hip for my liking, a little too heavy in the front end.

From the pictures he looks a little under himself in the back end, I cannot draw a straight line from the point of hip hocks and ankle. To me not what I look for, but he should be able to stop.

I do like the long forearm and short cannons on the front end

Oh boy can he stop! He is very naturally hind endy, he uses his rear end beautifully. Super light and easy, can spin a hole in the ground, seems very smart. He is not front endy but may be because he was broke very well. He's a big big mover, long strided, not the smoothest but not the roughest either!

Thanks everyone for your opinions and information! I know he's not perfect but he's very talented so far and seems to have a great head on his shoulders.

Much better pictures,
I have a few things I don't like about him, but I like most of him. I've yet to find a horse that perfect yet. He looks like an awful sweet horse.

Any idea how he got the scar on his cannon? Looks like it would be a fun place to keep clean and doctored...

They have barbwired where he came from and he got caught in it, he has another place under fetlock where it got him too, sucks about the scar but all cosmetic. I just got 2 new sets of BOT quick wraps I get to test out on him!! He was a day working horse that's how they break them, she told me she rode him 9 miles the day before I got him, so he has many trail miles in the woods too.

His personality would get you, he's very sweet and seems very smart
