What saddle do you use? Please post a picture of your horses' back! Maybe include a little info about your saddle also! Just trying to see saddles on different horses and comparing them to my own. I can't attach pictures but I have a two yo with like NO withers, slightly downhill, short and stocky. I just bought a Pozzi Standard in hopes that it would fit her :/ my Pozzi Wide almost fit her but tipped forward... I ride a treeless on my other mare, she refuses to ride in anything else, I just don't want to put the treeless on the 2yo.

I'm in your same boat! I have a two year old with wide shoulders and a little withers, but not a lot yet. But from what I understand, the withers haven't grown yet at that age, so nothing will be a great fit for a while. But I'm still trying to find a saddle to ride her in as mine rolls on her. So I'm interested to see what answers you get!

Isn't it frustrating! Lol I think I'm being slightly ridiculous, because as I look at the picture I took of her it looks like it fits her.... half the time it is popped up in the back, if it is sitting JUST RIGHT it fits :/ it's a Ken Raye.

2004 Coats original. Fits everything I've ever sat it on. I just use a thicker pad with my higher withered, thinner backed horses, and less for my more stocky-type build horses. Sits flat on their back, and I swear I wouldn't even have to tighten the cinch, fits like a glove.
