Is there a camera that takes both photos and videos of high quality that also transfer well onto social media outlets such as Facebook?  

Needing one to use for quality advertising of sale horses.

Also any video editing apps that you would suggest :)

Location: Texas		I have a Nikon D3100. Your lens will have a huge factor to play in the quality of pictures that you're getting. For video editing I use Corel Video Studio Pro and for pictures I use Photoshop.

You can't go wrong with either a Canon or Nikon. I personally use a Canon and love it.
