Habakkuk. 2:3 This vision is for a future time. It describes the end and it will be fulfilled If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
Ah, patience. It's the stuff frustration is made of. And yet it's a virtue The Lord expects His people to have plenty of.
In the fast paced world, we what what we want and we want it now. We don't want to have to wait. And we don't have to...for most things.
Oh, if only we could learn the value of slowing down of waiting in God's presence. Take another look at today's scripture. Sometimes the things we are waiting on comes slowly. Similarly, God's plan may come slowly but they come steadily, surely. God is going to do what He says He will do. We don't know when, exactly, but we can be found faithful while we are waiting.
What are you waiting in today? Is your patience wearing thin? Apply slow, steadily, surely principle and watch God work in time.
Lord, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Im used to things moving really fast. And yet am find myself in a waiting season. Give me patience, Lord. And remind me daily that Yôur timetable is the only one that matters Amen
For it is WITH God all things are possible. REMEMBER THIS! You have been assigned to this mountain to show others it can be moved.
