My coming 5 year old was broke early and meant to be a futurity colt but he sustained a cut on his leg and he had 6 months off to heal, well I'm riding him very consistently now and he's about ready to run again, when should I start him on the injectable glucosamine ? Is it to early or is it okay now?

I don't think it would hurt to start him now. Based on my vet's recommendations I use the injectable glucosimine (sp?) until they are 8 or 9 then switch to pentosan.
