A long time ago someone posted pics of their home that they renovated from an old barn to a beautiful home. I would love to see pics of this home again. I am getting ready to put tin on the front of my home along with barn wood and am looking for ideas. I do remember that they aged their tin and would like to know how they did it.
Anyone remember this thread??
Anyone have pics of their rustic home/ideas?

We soaked our new tin roofing in a pool of vinegar. We put 1/2" PVC pipe for spacers between the sheets and let them soak. The hotter it is outside the quicker the process.

I was looking back through my original post from a few years ago and realized those pictures still had the "first" floor in them. The guy that did the stain did a terrible job, the concrete wasn't level, it wasn't the pattern we asked for a whole host of other things wrong.
Last year we had a different guy come in and sand down our entire floor and bring it back to natural. Now the beams and woodwork can do the talking and not the obnoxious floor.
