Can anyone recommend any nice homozygous tobiano stallions? I have a solid mare that I may bred this year if I can find a suitable stallion for her.

See Joni Voloshin's stallions. We have had success with a lot of these colts. Not only will you get color, you will not get a sorrel and white. They are very athletic and smart. Proven in all aspects of cattle events and in 2016 - 3 of the 4 saddle winners were all from her stallion in the APHA PBRIP program. Trulegacy.com will take you to the website.

He was bred to a palomino paint mare and he produced a beautiful buckskin tobiano.

He's not. He has solid foals and tobiano is a dominant gene, I'm pretty sure.

Tobiano is just like any other gene, a stud/mare that is heterozygous has a 50% chance of passing it to the foal. Even with homozygous stallions/mares it's a possibility of getting a minimally marked tobiano that may not "look" tobiano. Gotta love the gamble of color placement when breeding paints! Lol
