Location: Northwest | Since Hidez has become more popular, I'm wondering if anyone has used a mask on a horse with poll issues and had good results? (I already have Magnacu products for this issue, looking for specific info on Hidez). |

Location: Wyoming | I just bought a mask for one that sets back constantly and has poll issues... haven't gotten to use it yet since my horse is turned out for the winter. I have heard good things about it helping with poll issues |

Location: Southwest New Mexico | I talked to a girl at a race that was using one. She had it on the whole time. She said her horse was very anxious and hot and it really helped calm her. And the horse was fairly calm and willing. |

I watched a video of a gal putting it on. It went fairly smoothly but the whole time I was thinking no way would MY horses stand that quietly while I try to put it on. |

Location: Texas | I bought one for my mare who can get anxious in the back and sometimes ball up in the alley. I figured, what they heck why not try. Getting it on the first time, I was just sure my mare (who is a little iffy about you putting things on her face) would freak out or not let me, but she really tolerated me getting it on her. It was a little challenging but I was told as you use it, it gets easier to put on once you figure out exactly where to pull. I rode her and she didn't even mind it on her. Haven't made a run in it yet.

| I bought one at a race at the beginning of January. The warm up/holding pen I knew was going to be a challenge for my mare. She has/had bad alley issues due to being ran sore by previous owner. I decided to try it and see if it worked. I put it on several hours before. Warmed her up, ok not too bad. I wasnt expecting an extremely calm horse, cuz hey Im a skeptic. But she wasnt trying to run off with me. Brought her over to the holding pen area. She tried to turn back 1 time. I corrected her and she WALKED IN THE ALLEY.... This is the same horse that can clear out an entire area when she was at her worst. I hadnt ran her in 2 months so was expecting her to be on the muscle. Hmmm I thought we'll see how she does the second day now that she knows what the holding pen is all about. Same deal as before. Tried to spin away the first time but when corrected WALKED IN!! It probably took away 90% of her anxiety. I still wasnt 100% sold on it so used it on a different mare. She's young, hasnt been hauled much and is a complete idiot when tied and you take her buddy away. Has a meltdown. Bucking, rearing and pawing, dancing, screaming. Its BAD! I put it on her, rode her, exhibitioned her, then tied her back up and got on her friend. I told my husband to keep an eye on her from the other side of the pen. Yes she hollered and moved around but he said she never bucked or reared so thats a plus right?
Its really not that difficult to get one once you figure it out. May not work for every horse but I have noticed improvements on my 2 Ive put it on. |

Actually after the first time it's super easy. The first time on both my horses they looked at me like I was nuts but the second time they actually put their heads right down into it on their own. Must feel good for them |

So what makes the Hidez more "magical". I mean there are only so many stretchy materials in the world and they would curve around the head similarly. Some folks took offense at me asking that on facebook. They said "It is made to hit pressure points"- well that didn't answer my question because once again- stretchy fabric is stretchy fabric. The only brand I think a woman can believe in is Spanx |

| I have a black hidez mask! My mare absolutely loves it! I've seen a huge difference with her in the trailer and at a show. She used to be very nervous in a trailer and especially tied at shows. With the mask on it helps her keep calm and relax more! I'm a firm believer in the hidez mask! |

Location: BOSSIER CITY, LA | I read on the website that it helps with focus when running, has any one experienced this? I am interested in getting one for my sons calf horse, sometimes if he is up during the performance he will walk up and not stay focused- does anybody think this will help? |

Update on mine... she hasn't set back once or even acted like it since I started using the mask. She's also terrible about chewing on her leadrope and has stopped doing that too |

I have two but haven't got to use them as much as I'd like at the moment due to weather. I did put one on my youngster who gets nervous waiting in the trailer while everyone is being loaded and it DID NOT help. She'd worn it before just around her pen. Maybe with time and multiple uses it would make more of a difference, IDK.
The reason I started this thread was about poll issues. I have a gelding who has a very tight poll. He has been worked on several times by a chiropractor and a body worker. He wears a PHT mask during the summer. I've put the Hidez mask on him a couple of times while he's been eating because you can really see the stiffness and lack of flex at that time. It MIGHT be helping but it is undetermined at this time. |
